community space
Analysing a site in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, I made a mental rather than physical intervention through a series of five cards, each in an edition of 50, which I handed out to members of the community as they walked through or past the site, thus activating the site in people's minds as the community space that it already was.

Studies based on the work of John Taylor Gatto, a New York public school teacher for 26 years who has had his teaching license revoked and reinstated and has received New York City and State Teacher of the Year Awards.
